The latest situation of Azerbaijani freestyle wrestler Haji Aliyev (65 kg) has been clarified.

He said that he feels normal now: "When I met my French opponent Khamzat Arsamerzouev in the 1/8 finals of the European Olympic Qualifying Tournament held in Baku, my eyes exploded. Even though the doctors put stitches at that moment, I continued the fight until the end. That's why I got an infection in my eye. As a result of the infection, the whole face is swollen. I am receiving treatment at home under the supervision of doctors. They said that this situation will pass in 3-4 days.”
It should be noted that Haji Aliyev (65 kg) won a license for the Paris-2024 Summer Olympic Games at the European Olympic Qualification Tournament.
