Azerbaijan's national wrestling teams have begun intensive preparations for the upcoming world championships with training camps in Baku.
According to Idman.biz, the women’s wrestling team started their camp on September 30, and their training will continue until October 21.
The Greco-Roman wrestling team began their preparation on October 7 and will train for 20 days. Meanwhile, the freestyle wrestlers will commence their camp tomorrow.
These training sessions, held at the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation’s base, are focused on tactical and technical drills in preparation for two key events: The U-23 World Championship (October 21-27) and the Senior World Championship (October 28-31). Both championships will take place in Tirana, Albania.
